Reminds me of The Nightmare before Christmas.

As someone said before, this is reminiscent of Danny Elfman at his prime. I've listened to it for about 20 minutes now. Damn good job.

Bosa responds:

That's who I had in mind while creating this song (along with Edward Scissorhands).

Pissed out me arse.

As much as I feel inclined to like anything you put out.... This is pushing the boundaries of drunken friendship.

Your Irish is as bad as Bland Tits in the movie Snatch.

Also, St Paddy liked young boys.

P.S. You still spell whisky wrong.

Hmm Baron you will never cease to amaze me. To call this music is an understatement :P I think it would fit perfectly into some sort of horror movie, or trippy animation. The reason i gave a 5 for effort is for the sole reason that i dunno if you meant it to sound like that, or if it was intentional.

Anyway, i think i will download it, i have a pretty wild imagination and this can fit somewere into one of my upcoming animations :)

BaronVonBadGuy responds:

Thanks! It did take around an average amount of time to make it, 5 hours or so. When ever I make a new song, I am not sure how it will end up in the end, I usually form beats which form a melody, I try and maintain a harmony with the notes, trying to have them match up in parts and rarely contradict each other, as well as altering it just so, to fit the mood I wish for it to convey. However, with this one, I tried to make it as chaotic as possible, while still maintaining a conscious flow to it.
The key thing to making this was to alter it's speed, reverse parts of it and keep it flowing. I am glad you liked it! Thanks for the review!

This was my least fave submission submitted recently out of the three, but im not saying that it was bad, far from it. It did kinda have similar qualities with the first submission, but im not worried about that. Its great work and well done. I had no idea you were so talented bud, fucking excellent.

"Flying away, falling awayyyyyyy" - Wow :)

RedCircle responds:

Yeah, this one is the "odd one out".

I actually had made the verse and chorus at separate times, and I still think that they don't quite go together.

But, I still think that the words flow well between the two. Thanks for noticing :)

The similarities between this one and Hold On is all in the key. Both are based in F#, so that probably why they sound similiar. I should tune down, and play it a whole step below Hold On so that they both stick out. But, it's kinda tradition now, so who am I to argue ^_^

Thanks for the review, and I'm glad that even though this one wasn't your favorite, you still liked it.

Very good.

I liked this submission second best out of the 3 you recently submitted, kinda made me think of making a random flash animation, which i think is great, because that makes it creative and inspiring, thanks for submitting it bud.

RedCircle responds:

Creative? Inspiring?

Wow, thank you ^_^

I am really glad you liked this, and I hope that someday, you will want to make a totally random flash animation using this song.

Heh heh, now I guess I will just review all your work now ^_^

Thanks a bunch for the review!!!

This submittion for some reason took extreme advantage of my speakers, it sounded like surround sound, ive never heard a song do that before. Well done.

This was a very very good song, kinda deep aswell, i will download this, maybe even use it or listen to it again sometime :P

"You said that you were my saviour" - Fucking excellent.

RedCircle responds:

Took advantage of your speakers? Heh, I am going to have a talk with my song about that, don't worry, it will be severely punished ^_^

This song actually deals with my now ex-girlfriend Tara. She and I, at the time, were having problems, and this song sort of told the story. Long story short, the verse "Because I've already shown you my problems" was very significant in that she really was having a tough time with life, and I was having an equal amount of problems dealing with hers'. We eventually kept on trying to work them out, but in the end, she needed to go alone and deal with them before she could be happy with others. Eh~ I tried. Your jaw would drop if I told you the whole story...but I'll save that for another time :)

I am very glad that you had a chance to listen to this. This is "one of those things" that means a lot to me when I just share it with people. It really doesn't matter if they like it or not, just the fact that they listened to it.

Also, the scream at the end was the highest pitch I could possibly get to and it lasted for an incredible 14 seconds. AND, I had to do it TWICE. Man, that was fucking difficult.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your review SCD!
